The Xianyitang 薏米扁豆湯 (Yì Mǐ Biǎn Dòu Tāng) is a classic Cantonese herbal soup blend combining poria (茯苓), coix seed (薏苡仁), white hyacinth bean (白扁豆), euryale seed (芡實), ficus root (五指毛桃), silk cotton flower (木棉花) and common rush pith (燈芯草). This combination is one of the most widely recognised everyday Cantonese herbal soups, producing a mild, lightly earthy broth that pairs well with pork ribs, pork bones or chicken.
Produced under an ISO 9001-certified quality management system. Rinse all ingredients thoroughly and soak in warm water for 15–30 minutes before use. Add to a pot with pork ribs, pork bones or chicken and simmer until fully cooked through.
