Our Heritage
Xianyitang originates from Zhongshan, China, built on a family vision to elevate the standard of ingredient sourcing and presentation. For three decades, we have remained committed to rigorous production standards, supply-chain traceability, and careful oversight of every product we offer. Today, with THL Innovation Company Ltd as our UK distributor, we bring this heritage to customers across the United Kingdom with a simple principle: quality through consistency.

Hangzhou Chrysanthemum
杭菊
Light floral aroma with a clean, slightly sweet finish. Traditionally steeped as a tea on its own or paired with goji berries. Sourced from Zhejiang province.
Shiitake Mushroom
花菇
The cracked-surface variety prized for deeper flavour and meatier texture. Adds rich umami depth to soups, stir-fries, and braised dishes.
Xinhui Orange Peel
新會陳皮
Sourced from our own orchards in Xinhui. Aged to develop complex citrus-and-herbal notes. Used in soups, desserts, and traditional Cantonese slow-cooked dishes.
Morel Mushroom
羊肚菌
Honeycomb-textured with a rich, earthy aroma. Pairs well with chicken or pork bone soups. A prized ingredient in Cantonese and French cooking alike.
Five-Finger Peach Root
五指毛桃
A Guangdong soup staple with a mild coconut-like fragrance. Traditionally simmered in pork bone broth. Ours is wild-foraged and hand-selected.
Hibiscus Flower
洛神花
Tart and berry-bright with a vivid ruby colour. Makes a striking tea on its own, or blend into iced drinks for a natural fruity tang.

75 of our 80 products contain no added sulphur dioxide. Only 5 products containing shiitake mushroom or white radish use E220 as a preservative — clearly labelled on each pack.
