1. About Us

This website and online shop are operated by THL Innovation Company Ltd (registered in England and Wales, company number 16511389), registered at Bartle House, 9 Oxford Court, Manchester, England, M2 3WQ. We import and distribute Xianyitang premium herbal ingredients in the United Kingdom.

2. Products

  • We sell dried herbal ingredients, spices, and related food products.
  • All prices are in British Pounds (GBP). Our products are zero-rated for VAT purposes.
  • Pack sizes and weights are as stated on the product listing.
  • Product images are for illustration purposes. Natural products may vary slightly in colour and appearance.
  • Products are sold as food ingredients and are not medicines or medical treatments. No health or medicinal claims are made.

3. Ordering & Contract Formation

  • Adding items to your basket does not create a binding contract. Your completed order constitutes an offer to purchase.
  • Payment through Stripe Checkout authorises the transaction but does not by itself form a contract. The contract is formed only when we send you an order-confirmation or dispatch-confirmation email.
  • If we are unable to fulfil your order (for example due to stock unavailability or a pricing error), we will notify you and issue a full refund.
  • Minimum order value: £20.00 (before discount and shipping).

4. Payment

  • Payment is processed securely through Stripe Checkout. We never see or store your card details.
  • Discount codes may be offered from time to time and are subject to the terms and expiry set for each code.
  • Discount codes cannot be combined unless stated otherwise.

5. Delivery

  • Delivery area: UK Mainland only.
  • Shipping cost: £4.95 per order.
  • Free delivery: Orders over £50 qualify for free delivery.
  • Dispatch: Within 1–2 working days of payment.
  • Delivery service: 48-hour tracked delivery.
  • Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery.

6. Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of the day after delivery without giving a reason.

  • To cancel, email customers@thlinnovation.com with your order reference.
  • Eligible for return: Unused, unopened, sealed items in resaleable condition.
  • Not eligible for return: Opened or unsealed food items cannot be returned for hygiene and health-protection reasons, as permitted under Regulation 28(3)(d).
  • On a full cancellation, we will refund the price paid including the original standard delivery cost. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of our receiving the returned goods.
  • Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.

7. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, faulty, incorrect, or incomplete order, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs. We will offer a replacement or full refund including the original delivery cost. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

8. Allergens & Food Safety

  • Our products may contain or be processed in facilities that handle common allergens.
  • Please check the product label for specific allergen information before use.
  • If you have any concerns about ingredients or allergens, contact us before ordering.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Our liability is limited to the value of the order placed.
  • We are not liable for losses caused by misuse of products, failure to follow storage or preparation instructions, or allergic reactions where allergen information was provided on the product label.
  • Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and branding — is owned by THL Innovation Company Ltd or Xianyitang and may not be reproduced without written permission.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that order.
