Suggested use
After opening, rinse thoroughly and soak in warm water for 15-30 minutes. Then simmer with meat for 40-60 minutes until fully cooked before consumption.

The Xianyitang 經典參芪湯 (Jīng Diǎn Shēn Qí Tāng) — 'Classic Codonopsis and Astragalus Soup' — is one of the most widely used Cantonese herbal soup blends, combining astragalus root (黃芪), codonopsis root (黨參), goji berry (枸杞), red date (大棗) and Chinese yam (山藥). The blend produces a mildly sweet, lightly earthy broth that pairs naturally with pork ribs, pork bones, chicken or lean pork.
Produced under an ISO 9001-certified quality management system. Rinse all ingredients thoroughly and soak in warm water for 15–30 minutes before use. Add to a pot with your chosen meat and simmer until fully cooked through. This is a simple, adaptable blend suited to everyday Chinese home cooking.

Each pack is pre-portioned for convenience. Rinse the ingredients, add to a pot with your chosen meat and approximately 1.5 litres of cold water, bring to the boil, then reduce to a simmer for 1–2 hours. Season lightly before serving. Serves 2–4.
