The Xianyitang 六寶珍菌湯 (Liù Bǎo Zhēn Jūn Tāng) — 'Six Treasure Mushroom Soup' — is a premium Cantonese mushroom soup blend combining five varieties of dried mushroom — cordyceps flower (蟲草花), termite mushroom (雞樅菌), agaricus blazei (姬松茸), boletus edulis (白牛肝菌) and morel (羊肚菌) — with red date (大棗). The combination delivers a deep, layered mushroom flavour with a naturally rich broth well suited to chicken or pork.
Produced under an ISO 9001-certified quality management system. Rinse all ingredients thoroughly and soak in warm water for 15–30 minutes before use. Always cook mushroom soups thoroughly before serving. Strain the soaking liquid carefully and add to the pot for extra depth — discard any gritty sediment. Simmer with chicken or pork bones until fully cooked through.
Typical uses: Cantonese mushroom chicken soup, pork bone broth, Chinese mushroom soup.
Goes well with: Chicken, pork ribs, pork bones, goji berries (枸杞), red dates (大棗), ginger, salt.
Each pack is pre-portioned for convenience. Rinse the ingredients, add to a pot with your chosen meat and approximately 1.5 litres of cold water, bring to the boil, then reduce to a simmer for 1–2 hours. Season lightly before serving. Serves 2–4.
