Dried jasmine flower — 茉莉花 (Mò Lì Huā) — is the whole dried bloom of the jasmine plant, prized in Chinese and East Asian cuisines for its sweet, intensely floral fragrance. It is most widely known as the aromatic ingredient in jasmine tea, where its fragrance infuses into the tea leaves. Beyond tea, dried jasmine flowers are used in sweet soups, desserts and scented rice dishes.
This Xianyitang pack contains 100% dried jasmine flower, produced under an ISO 9001-certified quality management system. For tea, place a small amount in a cup or teapot and infuse in hot water for 2–3 minutes. Can also be added to sweet soups or congee, or used as an aromatic garnish in desserts and rice dishes.
Typical uses: Jasmine tea, floral infusions, Cantonese sweet soups, scented rice and congee, desserts and puddings.
Goes well with: Green tea leaves, chrysanthemum, longan (龍眼), wolfberries (枸杞), honey, rock sugar, osmanthus, tofu desserts.
Allergen information: Packed in a facility that also handles peanuts, tree nuts, sesame and soya. Please check the product label before use.
