Dried chrysanthemum flower buds — 菊花 (Jú Huā), specifically tāi jú (胎菊), the premium bud variety — are one of the most popular dried flowers in Chinese cooking and tea culture. Their delicate floral fragrance and subtly sweet, slightly bitter flavour make them a classic ingredient in chrysanthemum tea, Cantonese sweet soups and herbal broths. The tāi jú variety is harvested before the flowers fully open, preserving an intensely fragrant, well-formed appearance.
This Xianyitang pack contains 100% dried chrysanthemum flower buds, produced under an ISO 9001-certified quality management system. Rinse gently before use. To brew as a tea, place in a cup and infuse with hot water for 5–10 minutes; enjoy directly or sweeten with rock sugar or honey.
Typical uses: Chrysanthemum tea (菊花茶), Cantonese sweet soups, herbal broths, everyday pantry use.
Goes well with: Goji berry (枸杞子), rock sugar, honey, snow fungus (雪耳), red dates (大棗).
