Hua Ju Hong — 化橘紅 — is dried sliced pummelo from Huazhou (化州), Guangdong Province, China. The Huazhou pummelo (化州柚) is a specific variety prized for its fragrant, slightly bitter, citrus-floral character. It is a traditional ingredient in Cantonese soups and herbal teas, and pairs well with other citrus ingredients such as tangerine peel (陳皮). It is also used in sweet soups and slow-cooked broths.
This Xianyitang pack contains 100% dried Hua Ju Hong sliced pummelo, produced under an ISO 9001-certified quality management system. Rinse thoroughly before use. Add to soups and broths during simmering, or brew as a herbal tea infusion.
