Tea tree mushroom — 茶樹菇 (Cha Shu Gu), also known as agrocybe mushroom or tea tree fungus — is a slender, long-stemmed dried mushroom with a distinctive earthy, slightly smoky aroma and a tender yet pleasantly firm texture after soaking. It is widely used in Chinese soups and broths, stir-fries and slow-cooked recipes, and is especially popular in Cantonese-style soups paired with pork ribs or chicken.
This Xianyitang pack contains 100% dried tea tree mushroom, produced under an ISO 9001-certified quality management system. Rinse thoroughly and soak in warm water for 20–30 minutes before use. After soaking, rinse again and cook promptly — do not leave soaked mushroom at room temperature for extended periods. Add to soups and broths during simmering, or use in stir-fries and slow-cooked dishes.
Typical uses: Chinese soups and broths, stir-fries, slow-cooked recipes, everyday pantry use.
Goes well with: Pork ribs, chicken, red dates (大棗), goji berry (枸杞子), ginger, garlic, coix seeds (薏米).
