The Xianyitang 參芪胡椒湯 (Shēn Qí Hú Jiāo Tāng) is a warming Chinese herbal soup blend of codonopsis root (黨參), Chinese yam (山藥), astragalus root (黃芪), white pepper (白胡椒) and red date (大棗). The combination produces a clean, mildly warming broth — the white pepper provides gentle heat without overpowering the other ingredients. The mix suits pork ribs, pork bones or chicken equally well.
Produced under an ISO 9001-certified quality management system. Rinse all ingredients thoroughly and soak in warm water for 15–30 minutes before use. Add to a pot with pork ribs, pork bones or chicken pieces and simmer until fully cooked through.

Each pack is pre-portioned for convenience. Rinse the ingredients, add to a pot with your chosen meat and approximately 1.5 litres of cold water, bring to the boil, then reduce to a simmer for 1–2 hours. Season lightly before serving. Serves 2–4.
