Black soybeans — 黑豆 (Hei Dou) — are a deeply coloured dried bean widely used in Chinese cooking, particularly in Cantonese soups and broths. Their earthy, mildly nutty flavour adds depth to long-simmered soups, and they pair naturally with pork ribs and chicken. They are also used in congee, sweet soups and everyday pantry recipes.
This Xianyitang pack contains 100% dried black soybeans, produced under an ISO 9001-certified quality management system. Rinse thoroughly and soak in water for 1–2 hours before use. Add to soups and broths at the start of cooking and simmer with meat and other ingredients, cook into congee, or use in sweet soups and desserts.
